The follow-up
Yo! So, untuk beberapa ke depan, anda akan membaca tulisan saya. Dan tenang saja, I'll try to exclude my "geniosity" and my "very quirky fashion sense" while doing that.
Pertama-tama, it is only appropriate to acknowledge and appreciate the chief for an extremely informative and meaningful introduction of me (You're the man, chief!). But however, beliau melewatkan sebuah poin yang tak terhingga pentingnya, which is the main reason why I'm writing this right now. Dan apakah sebuah poin penting itu?
Tak lain tak dua, it is why I am included in this blog. Let me give you a short analogy: In a village where the Barber of the village cuts the hair of every man who does not cut their own hair, who cuts the barber's hair? That is exactly my role here. Di sebuah blog yang kerjanya ngegosipin orang lain, siapakah yang bakal ngegosipin sang gossipers? Dan setelah consider the fact bahwa gosip-gosip seputar Chief and A add up to more than half of the whole gossips in this "Anglican City" (I perfectly understand why this name bugs you...), I need to stand up.
So yes, Mam, I'll do the dirty job. I'll make sure that all gossip here is made known to the world. And when I say "all" I mean "every single one of them". So be assured, you've got the right man for the job. I will do my best as the main editor.
Moving to the main topic I was left to do by the ever-hardworking Chief, yeah, "HIM", the hottest topic around here for the last two weeks. And what about HIM? After a brief consultation with the chief, I'll start telling the story from where it all began. No, it won't take long, only a paragraph at most...
Surely, semuanya dimulai ketika kita semua pindah ke City ini. Hari berganti minggu, minggu berganti bulan, dan -kenapa tidak- pertemanan pun mulai bertumbuh menjadi sesuatu yang lebih di hati tokoh utama kita. Let's call him The Hair Guy. Jadi, one day, about three weeks ago, THG proclaimed something like "Gw ga akan berpaling dari cewe yang lagi gw kejar dekarang". And at that point of time, gw udah cukup yakin siapakah perempuan yang SANGAT BERUNTUNG itu..
Ironisnya, minggu selanjutnya, THG and our lucky girl had quite a fight, after an incredible argument on "apakah cowo ga boleh punya rambut panjang?" (and hence, The Hair Guy). And apparently, the fight did not end so quickly, giving me more materials to write on.
A few days later, in one occasion, THG said to me something like "Gw udah ga ngejar dia lagi soalnya just a few days ago, I found out that she has already had an interest in someone else." Furthermore, THG menulis message di fesbuk accountnya sesuatu seperti "merasa seperti pecundang... sebaiknya mulai menjauhi dia (the lucky girl)... gw emang ga mungkin ngalahin orang yang lebih baik daripada gw di segala aspek..." Ditambah lagi, THG mulai menjadi hostile towards the unlucky guy.
And therefore everything became clear.
Dan saya, sebagai orang yang sudah enlightened dipaksa untuk menceritakan segalanya kepada cewe yang sangat beruntung ini. Dan komennya? "really had no idea...but after some thinking...all the puzzle pieces fits"
. . .
Dan ceritanya pun masih bergulir, even right now. Basically, pertemanan yang dulu nampak begitu nyata, now seems to fade into nothingness as the clock ticks... We'll keep you updated.
Err.. Should I tell you who the lucky girl is? Well, I feel really really tempted to, but after putting such a nice foreword for me, I dont think I should reveal who she is...
Hopefully I am not fired yet...
